New England Fall Family Fun – Get Lost in a-maiz-ment

Corn MazeLooking for some family fun this Fall?  Did you know the greater Boston area and southern NH boasts dozens of local farms offering corn mazes?  Many offer scavenger hunts and other attractions including hay rides, petting zoos, pick your own pumpkins and apples, and great local food and ice cream.

What is a corn maze you ask?  Basically, they take a field of corn and cut a maze through it, often using creative original or themed designs that can only really be seen from an aerial perspective.  What’s the point?  Well, to see if you can get to the other side of course and to have some fun!  Check out some of the corn mazes hosted this year, many of them located right in your local area.  When doing research for this blog post I discovered that there is a corn maze located less than 15 minutes from my hometown of Methuen, MA.  We are going to have to check it out!
